Few days ago I've logged in and for some reason I have now a number behind my nick that wasn't there before:

I registered myself as Fingon and suddenly my nick appears as Fingon.329. I see it so in my profile page, in the forum discussion, but the older replies that quote my nick still show just the original version.

Is it some sort of new function, possiblly trying to prevent problems when more users have the same nick (since for logging-in you need only e-mail and password), possibly some step towards GOGGalaxy?
It's a curse, they KNOW you're a terrorist.
A mistake. Contact support and they'll correct it.
They know you're from Linz.

Here's more info if you're interested.

As said above, support can fix it.

Temperature a schnitzel has to be cooked at to be safely consumed.

Seriously: as said above, contact support, they'll perform nick surgery.
Thanks for the tips, I've contacted the support as suggested.

Just to clarify, I live in Vienna and not in Linz, though I do like more schnitzel than the pastry dough commonly known in my home country as "linzese".
They got chili dogs over in Austria? :P

I was making a stupid reference to a movie about stupid Americans, like me :P, but that chili wurst sounds good and if I'm ever in the area I'll grab one.
