Greatest news of the week!
I remember very well a long and very interesting article concerning the 'next Oddworld title' - at that time - in the official Playstation 2 magazine.
Months passed, and then the game has been canceled, Oddworld Inhabitants complaining about the difficulties to develop a game on PS2 (early life of the console at that time) and mostly complaining about the lack of help and support from Sony.
I was SO angry with Sony, cause Munch's Oddyssey was then announced as a strong game, with differents gameplays phases (platform, RTS-like, etc...).
Anyway, can't wait to see that box! With Oddworld Inhabitants, I'm sure it will be a beautiful collector box. Well... if this collection is indeed released as a 'real' box and not just a virtual collection on Steam, of course...
EDIT: oh, I've just read "the collected Oddworld series is heading to Steam as The Oddbox!"

Considering how many people already have Abe's Oddysee + Exoddus here and on Steam, I think they will also sell the new games separately...

Yeah I hope so too, it'd be a bit daft to not also sell them seperately especially since the sales of the first 2 are probably what drove this conversion in the first place. If nothing else a DD based version would be easy to do this with, you buy a pack on impulse or wherever and get 4 installers or you can buy the installers seperately

I mostly hope to see the newly-converted episodes be released here on GOG too.

I cant play the first 2 seeing as my ps1 is busted and I dont have a ps2/BC ps3. So if this comes to GOG, I know what my next buy will be.

If GOG got them i would absolutely pay the individual prices... Stranger's Wrath is really fun, only got to play it for a few hours. Ive always wanted to try Munch's Oddysee though, that looks like a blast!

Yeah I know, I have them in my wishlist. I just havent gotten around to buying them because I'm in the middle of moving house and need all of the little amount of money I have.
And things are made even more fun, now that I've lost my bank card and can't get a new one because right now I can't prove that I am infact me. :(

Will GOG team get in touch with Oddworld Inhabitants to remind them of existence of even cooler services than Steam ? (the Oddbox is for winter, Lanning says)

I'm fairly sure GOG has been talking to them for a bit now, and is one of the other services he hints at the games coming to.

Strangers Wrath is VERY VERY VERY VERY cool...Think Good, the Bad, and the Ugly, Oddworld style. Very different...essentially a fantasy wild-west boss battle game, but VERy cool.
