Vorgoeth: Right, I've finally un-busied myself, can start working on a campaign in earnest. Sooo...
Inheritance (D&D 3.5) DM: Vorgoeth
Players:
The king is dying. He has requested the presence of all potential heirs to the throne, in order to judge who is the most worthy of succeeding him. He has planned a series of challenges which will determine this, and the winner shall be supreme ruler of the lands.
It is tradition that every king select one of the Lords of the realm to be his successor if the king has no sons, no sons of adequate age, or none he wants on the throne, as is the case here. You, the players, are all lords, each with roughly equal amounts of land and wealth.
The players aren't the only ones, there are lots of potential heirs. The first challenge is designed to weed out the completely unworthy.
I don't know when we'll start, obviously we'll need to gather players and make characters and such first. This will be run as a newbie game, as I'm rather inexperienced as a DM, but I won't turn down experienced players if there aren't enough. Just keep in mind, it'll likely be a bit of a bumpy road.
End of DM talk.
I'd also like to join some games as a player. KalarMcBran, is there room in your D&D game? Also, Katana Can Openers and Magery
I might be interested in that game.
