tinyE: Looking over the past few months, lets see...

Screamer 4x4
F-112
Pinball World
Hitman 3
Harvester
Summoner
Sin
Sword of the Samurai

You're right, no classics! What the hell is wrong with them!? :P
The earliest release date from any of those games is Sword of the Samurai, which was released in 1989...hardly an "old" game. Come on GOG, either release Pong or change your name to "Good New-ish Games"!

F4LL0UT: Many of your recent posts make a remarkable amount of sense. It's almost creepy.
So TinyE did leave some time ago, after all :P

While there are some discrepancies in your list (Wizardry 6, 7, 8 were released in 23 May and Project Eden was actually released on June), it is true that more pre-2008 games were released the previous year as opposed to this one. A difference of about +50% more games. (About 26 this year versus about 42 the previous one). Feel free to take a look at JMich's list your self and draw your own conclusions.

GOG Releases
1989 is 25 years ago! That's 1/3 of a human life, what are you a tortoise!? 1989 is when Nirvana released their first studio album and they get play on classic rock stations all the time. Shit, in 1989 all four of the original Ramones were still alive and a soon to be future President's dad WAS the current President.

Nope, just look at his most recent post in this thread. Classic TinyE.
I MAY be wrong but it does seem old games have taken a back seat to indie games definitely. Would like to see more come to gog.

GOG Releases
Ah, thanks for the link. Yeah, I wasn't too worried about getting each release exact, but it should be somewhat accurate.

There's no way around this fact, unfortunately; I believe even TET mentioned there would be fewer classic releases back in Nov '13. I wouldn't mind it if we could finally knock off some of the BIG classics from EA, Activision, Squeenix, etc., but ...

EDIT: You know what I'm betting? I'm guessing we'll actually see a big classic release tomorrow, and this thread will have people back thinking many people will be whining in the release thread, and they will preemptively parody those whines. "But but GOG doezn't relese classic games anymore!1!111"

I'm calling it, and if I'm wrong ... well then I'll be wrong. ;-)

Either that or we get Tycoon City: New York. -_-

That reminds me, any word on The Girlfriend Sim?
I actually think i still have that, and the ultra-boxed edition of "How to be a complete bastard" in the attic - the latter needs a reboot AND a rerelease (i'm looking at you night dive),
