He's not the most consistent reviewer out there, but he takes time to analyze the games he plays, and even though I don't agree with certain reviews he makes, I have to say his reviews are as unbiased as you'd expect. He is not listed on Metacritic or Gamerankings, and he reviews for fun rather than as an occupation, so I think his opinions have a bigger weightage than the mainstream crap we are getting.
The best part is, he reviews indie games and sometimes games you've never even heard of. He also does take in requests, but he ignored my last 2 emails, so maybe he's getting tired of it :(

Ah, yeah, that guy. I don't always agree with him, but you can at least trust him to give an honest opinion. Unfortunately, the types of games he plays don't overlap that much with what I play.

I generally like him, though I can think of at least one review that was either biased, or over-enthusiastic. Overall, though, I like him - I even follow him on Twitter.

Which game are you referring to? Sometimes my spam filter does strange things, like delete game requests. Damn meat by-product!
At least one? That's all? I can think of 2 games of the top of my head that got an 8/8 that didn't deserve it (though I guess that's at least one, eh? :) ). Which game are you referring to; we'll see if it's the same!

That would be the original Combat Mission: Shock Force. I guess that having 5 of our missions included in the game made you a little over-enthusiastic. ;-)
I suppose you agree with me on that one, but now I'm curious - you mentioned at least 2 games, so which would be the other one? ;-)

I was actually going to guess EU:Rome, but I wasn't sure. Though EU:Rome with the Vae Victis expansion is worth at least a 7/8. ;-)
