warmonger: I still have the original disc of this game and manual, but sadly it doesnt work anymore. I remember the time i first started the game I was amazed by the graphics and the music.
I was very immersed into the game and played it multiple times, the story didnt get boring even after replays.
For years I have been waiting to be able to play the game again. And knowing it will be on GoG tomorrow is a blessing, these last 24 hours plust the fact i have to work lateshift tomorrow will be tormenting but worth it.
I want to be an Outcast again.

For me Outcast was a title that heralded the modern era of gaming. An open world (albeit a portal-based one), first / 3rd person action, professional music score by the Moscow Philharmonic Orchestra, cinematic cutscenes, great engine tech (ok, that is debatable considering where we are now...but just remember the water! I bought that game BECAUSE of the water effects!), solid and detailed lore, and respectable plot. These are characteristics shared in Dragon Age, GTA 4 and Mass Effect 2, yet they were all there back in 1999. A true classic.
