I like the nickname hamhamram ... sounds like a always-hungry-cute-little-animal to me. :)
It always funny to see people going berserk over situations like this and almost every time it's their bank being the worst bank in the world and they never even considered that possibility :P

Btw. a situation like OP has happened to me once in my lifetime and not on GOG - bank locks an amount of money for a few days, releases it after (not refund, releasing the funds), but then after few days charging me anyway. But I would never suspect that a store is trying to charge me twice, becausse the sole idea sounds riddiculous :D (company making a criminal fraud for 5 bucks)
I almost got fired from my old job because the deposite was $50 short. The manager sat there and grilled me and grilled me while I pleaded my innoncence begging her to call the bank and ask them about it. She wouldn't have it and she was a heartbeat from giving me the axe when the phone rang. It was the bank. They had screwed up our deposit. They were very sorry. Fucking manager never even apolized to me. Carma rescued me though; her store no longer exist and I'm a mega successful owner/opperator of my own B&B. :-D

Don't you just love it when I troll!?

Glad to hear you got the major problem resolved, but I don't see any indication that this particular issue was resolved:

hamhamram: When I said I couldn't access my messages at the site I meant the site's messages. Not my email. Once again, I'm not fucking retarded. If you bright, shining stars look up at the in-site toolbar that helps you navigate around GOG, you'll see a menu called "my account". When you click it, there is a drop down menu, and one of the options on that menu is "messages". When I click it I am taken to my games. Even though there is a bright red indicator on the My Account tab indicating I have 1 new something. I was hoping this was an explanation from the site telling me WHY they were playing around in my bank account.
I think this is just a case of simple user error. The "My Account" drop down menu appears upon hovering your mouse over it, not upon clicking on it. If you click on "My Account" it will take you directly to your game shelf, but if you just hover over it to let the drop down appear, you can then select other options under "My Account", like the messages. However, the messages section is not for support contacts from GOG, it is member-to-member private messages through the forums. A red flag on "My Account" can also indicate forum replies or updates to your games. Which specific one the flag indicates can be seen on the drop down menu.

Hope this helps, and welcome to GOG!
