i have some visa gift cards and cant get them to work is this a problem with GOG or the gift card. i assume it is the gift card.

No you cannot use visa gift cards, but I sure as hell wish they would allow that somehow.


Due to international sales, the cards do not allow that.

The problem lies with the gift cards, not GoG. They have limitations placed on them by the issuers (Visa, MasterCard, etc) that disallow foreign transactions (Though I have heard that you can get some that allow it, I just have never found one). This is probably some sort of fraud/crime prevention on the part of the issuing companies, too easy to bypass regulatory checks with gift cards.. that, and card companies can't charge you foreign transaction fees on a gift card (consumer protection laws or some such).

Dude, just buy Steam games(as gifts) and then trade them for GOGs here. :)
