HI, i'm new to gog (and new to paypal as well) and i'm having problems with the payment. I don't have a credit card so i tried to pay via paypal using the direct debit option. But when i choose the option at paypal and want to finish the payment, i get redirected to gog.com and get a message that there was a problem processing my order.
Does anybody knows what might be the porblem?
Yesterday i sent funds to paypal, but i'm not sure if the arrive fast enough so i can take advantage of the current D&D promo.

Thanks in advance

That sometimes happens, where the system has trouble processing orders. That goes for credit cards and debit cards too. My only suggestion is to keep trying once you're certain the funds are recorded to your paypal account, or try to get a pre-paid card from a store to use on here in place of a credit card.

Edit: Make sure the card will work with international orders too. I don't know if you need one that's international, but this came up before with a couple other people.

Edit 2: The sale is going on until the 28th up to midnight according to the announcement, so you still have a few days to get it working.

I think with a debit card you need to have the funds on the paypal account. If you don't have them available i think they will not do the transaction.
Many debit cards only allow national money transfers. Which one do you have?

Mine is Visa, and it tends to work okay.
I only have the debit card from my bank (Volksbank in Germany, it's a "Maeatro" card). I want paypal to take the money directly from bank account via direct debit (Lastschrift in german) since it seems to offer me this option. My papal account is linked to my bank account. I tried it already several times (yesterday and today) but no success.

Well, you didn't mention having the debit card. Have you given that a try yet?

Log in to your Paypal account, and see if it shows the funds as available.

I don't know how it works with regards to time frames internationally, but sometimes it can be 3-4 business days here (in US) depending upon the funding source.

EDIT: Please disregard as funds are in your bank/hand.

Just a thought. In US Paypal wants to know that you are who you say you are, and do this by making a small deposit into your account, wait for you to confirm this amount, then they take that amount back and confirm your account.

Check all of your email from them, and see if this might be an issue. I don't know if they use the same confirmation methodology there, as here. Best of luck!
I can't use my Maestro card to pay. And suddenly there is no longer the option to pay via direct debit at paypal (But my account is registered for that). The option was still there a couple of hours ago but did not work.
So i guess i have to wait till the funds arrive at my account.

I hate to bring this up, but check your bank account and make sure you didn't get bombed with a whole bunch of overdraft fees while you were trying to purchase.

If you did, call them quickly, be nice, and explain the situation and they will likely rescind the fees; know this from experience :-)

If there are games you want, are afraid of missing the sale, PM me with 2 you want from the d&d sale, you'll get toe free with that, and then just gift back to the community someday.

This is nothing special, as I do this every once in awhile anyway.
According to my Paypal Accout, there have been no transactions and gog said as well, that i have not been billed.
And thanks for your offer Dischord, but i think the funds should have arrived on Monday on my Paypal account, so i won't miss the promo.

OK, is good you aren't getting pounded with fees, just bureaucratic crap we all get :-)

Offer stands if you think you'll miss the sale though, and hello btw!
