Miaghstir: I would say that there is no game that you absolutely must play. The only things you absolutely must do are what is needed for your survival, beyond that everything is ultimately for entertainment (yes, even work - you work to get cash to pay for entertainment, or perhaps to be able to live a little easier than trying to carve a living out of untamed land).

Ralackk: I didn't mean it as a literal use of the phrase "absolutely must play" just a saying at least in the UK that its a game I really, really want to play. So much so I handle it like I described above, its probably not legal but I feel I fufilled any of my moral obligations to the developers and publishers by buying the game.
