Kitchen utensil pic is better...;o)

xzyem: I have improved your blender.
You are welcome.
cheers!!
It's intresting to see a lot of peoples replies on this matter. I can see valid points and the 'Laziness factor' whilst being a reason for some, is not for others.

ChickenHero: Not to mention that for me personally, i'm more drawn to reading someones post if they have an avatar than i am to somebody who doesn't.

Kezardin: In other words you think less of people simply because they don't have an avatar ?

Right....
I never said that. I simply meant that if say... a page of a forum thread had mostly people with No avatars/default avatar and someone had a bright avatar it would just be natural for me to look at that persons avatar and see what they have to say over everyone else having the same avatar (Since it's hard to tell who's who).

To be honest when people with no avatars get quoted, i honestly can't be bothered to search through and find their original reply due to this. Also i get to know regular forum posters due to their avatars.

People who have posted in this thread like (and these are just examples) SimonG, Adzeth, Kabuto, kalirion, Roman5, Lukaszthegreat i instantly reckonize who that person is due to the avatars they use and since i know they are frequent members i am more draw to looking at their posts than people i don't know (hence people with no avatars).

Awesome. Kudos to you.
I got an avatar after 3 days in. My question is... how do you change your title?

Go here and change the forum title.

xzyem: If your avatar doesn't have a twiddlable mustache, your avatar is worthless.

Great thing is, you don't have to search for the post. See those arrows? The ones after all the quotes? They send you straight to the post being quoted, no effort.

There's nothing wrong with not having an avatar. Hell, there's bound to be some people here with no avatars that are better behaved and better managed, plus better commentary, than some with an avatar.

So Badly drawn Goatee doesn't count for anything? :(
I change my avatar regularly depending on the game I currently play. So, if you see my avatar does not change for a long time, it is either I do not have any more games to play, or I am having difficulty finishing the current game (or I am just plain lazy, which is very likely), or worse I am having a gamer's block.

I seldom engage in a lengthy discussion anyway, and normally I just post one liner and such, so I do not think this regularly-changed avatar is a problem.
