Partially my fault for not having multiple saves, but it's just not right for a game to put you in a situation that is literally, LITERALLY impossible.
I have been taken prisoner by Elona (or whatever her name is), escaped from the cell, and have now been wondering around a dungeon for some time, two levels I think.
And I simply cannot, CAN NOT get past this to get out without dying. I go into this one area and multiple Lich's attack. I tried using shodows and the strange spice I got from the kitchen in the castle, and even though my magic is full, I only stay hidden for a brief time, plus there are so many goddamned enemies in one area it's almost impossible to click for a place to run without clicking an enemy which ends my invisibility if it's not already ended.
I have tried now I know, not exaggerating, over 100 times. I've been sitting in this chair for the last 5 hours just trying to get out of this dungeon, cussing a game that apparently is completely unfair, but yet keep trying and trying. And I am convinced it is literally impossible for me to beat all of those Lich's. I had a battle with ONE that literally lasted about 15 minutes in real time, and I went through EVERY bottle of healing, magic, and restoration I had, and I had at least 40 or 50 of them added up. Just kept on hitting the LIch, and he would keep on sucking my life into his. I might as well have given the potions directly to the Lich, because as soon as clicked on the potion, my vitality is going down so fast it's difficult to click fast enough to get another potion.
And my last, different save was so many hours ago (in playtime, in real time it was a week ago) that if I have to go all the way back there I am going to ditch this game once and for all. Fuck! The game is so awesome, it's actually addictive. I find I can't get into another game because I keep thinking of this one and a new way to try things. It's at times an incredibly good game, but right now it's so fucking unfair if I had to rate the game I'd take away at least 3 stars for this situation.
Can someone tell me I don't have to start over or start with the old save I mentioned above, which is, IIRC, almost like starting over?
