The site links to 5 - count it, 5 - separate trademark applications and transfers, and lists a number of items including; magazines, books, graphics novels, clothing and apparel, an ongoing sci fi TV program, and of course, video games.
The final application shows the trademark moving from Apogee - via the Radar Group to Bethesda's business arm, Zenimax.
The good news is that the franchise has been picked out of limbo. It does open up a ton of questions though, like who will develop it? And more intriguingly, how much did they pay?"

NO. Any Duke Nukem game now, made by the same people or not, would be awful. I can feel it in every bone of my body. Let it die.

Beyond older gamers, no Duke game has sold well.
Plus, I doubt George Brossurd would give up the Duke IP. They need it to pretend they still work on Duke Nukem Forever so that Take Two doesn't sue them for breech of contract (In case anyone believed that the two guys by themselves could finish the game).

Well id just joined zenimax and then zenimax just aquired prey... I think its a safe bet we will probably be seeing a prey title from id in the distant future after they are done with Rage and Doom 4.

I don't really think id cares about other companies IPs. And don't give the fact that they made Commander Keen to originally be Super Mario Bros. 3 for the pc, that was a LONG time ago...

Well for better or worse now id is known for its shooters. I just have a hard time imagining bethesda doing anything with the prey IP as they seem to do huge open world games.

The end of prey left things open enough for an open world prey on another planet... Without spoilers, but anyone who has beaten it should know what I mean...

Um, they bought the prey and fallout liscense and id joined up. I think you have buying liscenses and companies willfully joining up confused with DESTRYOING LISCENCES and DESTROYING COMPANIES WHILE HOSTILE TAKING OVER.

Well, they are just warming up. They need some time to get to EA's level. : P
