Saw the 25% off Strategy games and ordered a game. No discount because I missed the "enter promo code blurb." Knock it up to idiocy.
But what's the promo code to enter for this? I'm obviously missing something right in front of me because this hasn't been asked yet. (Or my search tech is just as bad...)

When I was going to add some more, none showed a discount, so I cancelled.

It's probably due to the promo having ended now. It's technically Monday, after all.

Yea this tricked me at first too. I got an email that said 25% off strategy games which I assumed meant all strategy games. When you go on the home page, however, it says SELECTED strategy games. Huge letdown.

The discount only applies to Original War, Celtic Kings, and Haegemonia, which is probably why the promo is called Selected Strategy Games, as Navagon and Catshade said.

Yeah, the promos usually ends around noon the day after (European timezones, give or take an hour or two), not midnight the last day. This is so Americans have the whole last day to order as well, I also believe they start "half a day" early (from the European viewpoint) so that the Asians have the whole first day to order (else it would start later in the day for them), but I'm less sure of that.

It's very easy to tell when promos on GOG have ended, just look for the small Promo graphic to the right of the "Latest info and announcements" header, or in a similar place on any game card page. If you don't see it; the promo has ended.

Also, the e-mail shows you directly which games are on sale. It helps to read the e-mail, and not just the subject title.

I expect that there are some people out there who don't subscribe to the emails... And the OP made no mention of seeing the promo in an email.
