Hi guys! Remember my last Treasure Hunt?

http://www.gog.com/forum/general/the_invasion_of_cron_treasure_hunt_413_worth_of_games_to_win/

I was wondering if the community would be satisfied with a fund-raising Treasure Hunt. I'm trying to raise funds for the artist who's turning my fantasy book, The Darkest Wand, into a 3-volume manga. She's doing sketches, character design and scripting in advance. We're hoping to raise roughly $6k before launching a Kickstarter to finish it off.

As the gofundme hasn't produced much yet ($0 in 13 days, 22 shares, though! -- http://www.gofundme.com/TheDarkestWandManga [download my book free there, DRM-free for a limited time]), I've been cranking my brain for how to raise the funds. And I had an idea:

Would it be acceptable to the community to raise funds on the GoFundMe for a "ticket" to the next Treasure Hunt?

A $5 ticket would get the purchaser:
- All 3 of my enovels (Memoirs from Special Education, Father Pimp and The Darkest Wand), DRM-free
- An entry to the Treasure Hunt
- A random chance of being mailed original sketches that are used in the design of the manga

Out of the $5, $2.50 would go into a pool to buy GOG games for the giveaway (they'd probably be purchased during the next few big sales to get the money to stretch far).

The remainder of the $2.50 would go toward GoFundMe and the payment process (roughly 7-10% of the total purchase, if I remember correctly), postage for the mailings and, of course, my artist.

The Treasure Hunt would likely take place late this year or early next.

If you bought a higher tier, I could put a % of the purchase into GOG games (it would vary per tier, but I could give 50% of the "profit" of each tier -- less profit % on the higher ends due to shipping and printing).

If it feels too scammy or you would rather just have standard game donations to the treasure hunt like we did last time, then let me know. I don't want to twist people's arm. I'm just moving gears in my head and wondering if it's a project that GOGlodytes would like to smash together.

Let me know what you think!
