I thought since there are a lot of gamers here, I would ask this and appeal to your knowledge/recommendations. I have been using a Mionix Propus 380 pad with a CM Storm Spawn (optical) mouse. Unfortunately there is a coating on this mouse pad that wore off pretty quickly and has been causing some serious mouse drag as a result. It started off awesome, but is not working like it used to....

Can anyone here recommend a good, affordable mouse pad for the Spawn? No cloth though, I hate cloth pads for gaming :)
SteelSeries make some really thick pads and even though it is still technically cloth, they are so thick that you will not notice it. Perhaps check out their web site?

Hmm, I don't like cloth pads but I see Steel Series has that 4HD and 9HD and am wondering if those would fit the bill. A bit pricey for mouse pads, but it is a niche market...

Got a Kensington 62384 Mouse Pad. Seem pretty on wrist comfort as designed to distribute wrist pressure for better mousing. I found some better options at here: wiseguys.co.nz/computer-hardware/keyboards-mice/mouse-pads

Thanks for the responses guys. I ended up finding a great deal on a 1st gen Rocketfish dual sided pad (with the red metal). So far its been great and it reminds me of my old Razer eXact-mat :)
