Mask of the Betrayer, Storm of Zehir, and Mysteries of Westgate expansions included!

Neverwinter Nights 2: Complete, the ultimate edition of Obsidian's RPG set in the all time favorite Dungeons & Dragons setting, the Forgotten Realms, is now available 25% off on GOG.com. That's $14.99, this week only.

Ah, Forgotten Realms, after all the days we've spent treading your paths, you seem like home. Whenever the world around us seems oppressive and dark, whenever life gets us down--our mind escapes to your green fields, your rocky mountains, your lush forests. We cherish the memories of our bold ventures into your deep undergrounds, filled with dangerous beasts and traps, yet luring us with promise of great riches and unsurpassed power. We still tremble at the thought of the vengeful gods and goddesses that toy with the fates of your inhabitants, and the perplexing magic that fills you to the brim. We fondly remember the long evenings spent in the warmth and security of your many taverns and inns, where a single conversation could usher us into a new quest. Now comes the time to visit you once more.

Neverwinter Nights 2: Complete revisits many of the iconic locations known from previous D&D computer RPGs, and adds even more--all in a beautifully rendered environment. The game has been praised for faithfully executing the D&D 3.5 ruleset, delivering a captivating story and vivid characters, and vastly improving the visuals in comparison to its predecessor. With four full campaigns and adventure sets to embark upon, a set of tools to create your own adventures, and fully patched and ready to go, this is the version you just can't afford to miss!

Can you hear it now? Can you hear the rattling of D20 dice rolling? That's the sound of adventure! Tag along, get Neverwinter Nights 2: Complete, for only $14.99 until Thursday, January 31, at 10:59AM GMT.
English only : not for me !
HUGE system requirements-3.0 GHZ is basically the equivalent of a core i7. I welcome all new games to GOG, but NWN 2 has far higher sys recs than any other D & D game! Am I reading it wrong?
I have the Platinum Edition, is Westgate any good, may shell out for a DD back up if it is.

Thanks for any help :)

gameon: I doubt anything could bore me like the original campaign, lol. It's worth a try anyway. And it's nice to know that there is a decent mod for Neverwinter Nights, not just for me, but for everyone reading the thread. Just in case they don't like the original campaigns in either 1 or 2.

Leroux: There isn't a decent mod for NWN, there are tons of really awesome modules. Makes it hard to single one out and pick that over the others. :D

But on the other hand, just try one and if you don't like it, come back for other suggestions. Off the top of my head, The Sunken Shrine of Ahmenkatja might be a good place to start, too. It's not the best of the best, but it does a good job of demonstrating what's possible with the toolset within less than an hour, while telling a full short story, complete with combats, puzzles and quite well-written dialogues. And it doesn't require any knowledge on how to install hakpacks, as it should work with the GOG version if you just copy the .mod file into the "modules" folder found in your game directory.

EDIT: Replaced the link, better download the improved Non-Contest version.
Will these mods work with Platinum do you know?

Are you talking about NWN or NWN2? They won't work with NWN2 Platinum because we were talking about NWN here, the predecessor, sorry.

But there are plenty of modules for NWN2, too, even Planescape-themed ones.

I already made a GOG style installer for myself from original disks sometime ago but it's Instantbuy for me :D

Ah, so 3 ghz is just for Single core (I'm running a dual core i5 with intel HD 4000). I'm guessing this game will run fine when I get around to buying it.
This is AWESOME!!!

Thank you!!

3 Ghz Pentium IV, which is to say that almost any processor built after the pentium IV should do the job (specially if you have a recent video card with the latest drivers).
Well, about time. I waited and waited for this one, but you took too long GOG, I bought it on GamersGate instead. I might grab it here again when you do a good sale on it though.
Awesome release.
On the wishlist for now.

grumblycakes: That's good news but full retail is $20? That seems off for an 7 year old game... it should be in the 10$ tier.
You get all the expansions, though, so I think the price is fair.
