I don't think the codex is opposed to GOG, don't let yourself be fooled by the two dozen people which post in every goddamn thread. There are hundreds of others. I have ordered a couple of games at GOG, and I think it's a great service. But I also like the codex, because the discussions are honest and often intelligent. Dumb people don't stay there, because in a forum that works like a prison warden they are the weakest.
I agree that the discussion of warez gets out of hand lately. But if you look around in the forums you will find that codex doesnt tolerate links to illegal downloads. I used to think it is more shit talking, but with some people I am not so sure any more. In any case it's stupid.

Navagon: Ah, it's great to see that even after all these years he still has the magic touch.
As for Mr T, I don't think I'd want to cross him or his radioactive tiger.

michaelleung: Yeah, Shatner still has it when it comes to films. Why did you think Captain Kirk wanted to climb the mountain?

HOLY CRAP that Shatner video is superb!

You see, I discovered a few years ago that, despite *never* actually admitting to it, my mother has held on to a crush on Shatner since the 60's. Then I started noticing that my dad looks a *little* bit like Shatner, and he works on ships.
Also, my mother is virtually impossible to shop for. This is not a exaggeration. she pretty much wants *nothing*. So, what do I get for her for her birthday one year? A buy a nice looking frame, and a set of vintage postcards from Startrek II, take the one with Kirk, frame it, and put it in her kitchen, with a rose, and a note "To **** from Jim".
Laughs were had by all!
