Seems that ResidualVM has just made a stable release with full Grim Fandango support.

I hope this will help with getting a release of Grim Fandango on GOG sometime in the future along the lines of the ScummVM supported adventures.

That's awesome!...
But I don't see how this would help GOG... is the same help of ScummVM, unfortunately... :(
