Some of you might remember this game from a failed Kickstarter.

However it is now released as a beta, and available in many (other) DD retailers.

The game is the spiritual successor to the Decent games, and looks very nice indeed.

As a sidenote - this is also an example when Valve picks a game out of greenlight, it now has a January release date on steam after been in greenlight for three days.

For those of you who like DRM free - I just noticed they use HumbleStore. Good news, though for me it is more important that it supports the devs more. Now I just need next pay-check.
This reminds me a lot of an old PC game called 'Virus: The Game'. I don't remember too much about it other than some basics. It used your HDD layout for the levels, and different files such as audio and pictures for music and visuals. I found it rather interesting at the time, and I've been trying to track down copies of that game for years, but to no avail. This looks rather interesting I must say. I might pick up a copy at some point, I would be most interested if this was ever added to the GOG catalog.

Retrovirus just popped up in Steam.

Seems like they sailed in without going through greenlight. Good for them.

The trailer looks very nice, to bad I have bought to many games this month already...
Looks great, I love playing Descent using the rebirth source-port, so I'll definitely buy this.

Don't really like steam though, is it coming to GOG?
