Does anyone know if this is available as a DL anywhere? Good game, and I'd like to play it again, but it won't work on my computers.

Wish GOG would do it up. If you never heard of it, it evidently wasn't very popular, and most people haven't played it - or heard of it. It is an adaptation of Wagner's opera, set in space in the future. Sort of a fantasy sci-fi game, with some devilish puzzles.

Ring: The Legend of the Nibelungen, 1999. This is the only thing I've found associated with the company that you could be talking about. And from what I can see it was panned pretty hard by reviewers.

Thanks. One of the links didn't work, the other looked iffy. Amazon has some good deals, but all hard copies. I probably still have my own hard copy buried somewhere. Gah. I might have to dig out the dinosaur... I have an old machine with Win ME on it, but not sure how good the graphics card is. Wish GOG would do this one to work on newer systems.

Despite the critics, it got pretty good customer reviews on Amazon. It's not a cookie cutter adventure - it is different. At the time, I was playing the adventures like Atlantis and Myst, and found Ring a bit hard to deal with. Not used to dying in games, then. I learned to save often pretty quick!

But the graphics and soundtrack - and voice acting - were excellent, and the premise of the game was interesting, for sure. A game made from an opera! Really!
