Right, back to the Sims 3.
spindown: Those are upgrades, not superpowers. The superpowers include stuff like shooting fireballs out of your hands, running 200 mph and jumping between skyscrapers. And it looks like they are a big part of SR4 because (part of) the game takes place in the Matrix.
Maighstir: I interpreted the question wrongly then, as I saw no such things in Saints Row The Third which the question seemed directed at. Some of the superpower stuff was in SR3, but only in the Trouble with Clones (?) DLC.
