It seems that you're using an outdated browser. Some things may not work as they should (or don't work at all).

Hey guys, so.... how exactly does the search function organize the results? They seem to be randomly grabbed and placed in order (not in date/relevance etc order).

When I try to do a search on a specific term it goes from 2013, to 2010, to 2012 etc dates and I can't find any sort of rhyme or rhythm to it X.x What am I doing wrong? Or is that normal for everyone else? I've tried to not use the search feature much since I've always had the problem but now it's sort of getting too annoying/difficult to find stuff and not use it for me.

Is the pure chaos.
I have major issues with the search function on GOG. I always end up resorting to searching the site through Google instead with site:gog.com in the search query.
The search function never works for me... I always have to use the search function from the browser to "search" through the search results... (:P)

I think what they are trying to say is it sucks. :D

In fairness the other day I typed in "my keys" and it came back, "behind the couch" so that was nice.

If I know the thread, then I search in that specific place and that tends to narrow it down.

Otherwise it is utter chaos with absolutely no rhyme or reason that I can discern....
I think the whole search function is a subtle hint that Chaos Overlords is coming next week.
Totally forgot to mark a solution X.x Thanks all for your input! nice knowing I'm not the only one who is having the problem.
Sadly the search function here, like the game reviews, is fairly worthless. I love GOG and the games it offers and the whole DRM free philosophy but TBH their website is pretty crappy. I mean seriously, no spoiler tags? No subforums?
