Coelocanth: LOL - no worries. I actually did the exact same thing once. Couldn't find the port on my card because it had a plastic cover over it. Glad you got it sorted though. Now install those puppies and get that rig rolling.
*is jealous of OFGs 760s*
So, I remove the two 560ti's, put one 760 in, hook up the HDMI cable, and...
The initial splash screen comes up with the option to hit DELETE to load BIOS or hit F7 to go to the BOOT MENU (Neither of which work BTW).
And there it stays, with the number 62 in the LED readout. It stays there awhile, then the screen goes blank except for blinking cursor at the upper left hand corner. And there it remains, never changing. With the same number 62 in the LED readout on the motherboard.
Attached is the error codes for the LED readout on my motherboard.
Any ideas???
Tried the other 760, got the same exact result.
Next, gonna put the 560ti back in.
And I put the 560ti back in and works like it was above.
I don't know if this is a faulty motherboard, or just a complete piece of shit motherboard (meaning it 'works' it just wasn't ever engineered well in the first place).
And while the 560ti was in, I went ahead and uninstalled the drivers, thinking that may be an issue, put the 760 back in, and THE SAME OLD SHIT. Stays on the opening splash screen way too long (and won't interpret any keys you hit if you do try to go into BIOS) and then the screen goes blank except for a blinking cursor in the top left corner of the screen. Where it stays this way no matter how long I leave it.
With the number 62 on the motherboard's LED troubleshooting readout.
