I've got some spare games from the latest Insomnia sale and I'd like to share them right here with you!
The games are Shelter and Torchlight. If you are in for one of these games please post "I'm in", name the game which you enter for and (optionally) share your favorite game story/stories with me. :)

Hmm, well one of my favourite gaming stories is having a LAN game of NWN with the mates back when I was in college. We were all studying for our various classes one weekend and a bunch of us decided to make up a campaign and play it over the LAN. It was such a fun time, had a few beer, some pizza and just cut loose going on an adventure. To this day I absolutely love LAN games and co-op modes of games since, while I'm not a big competitive MP fan, I greatly enjoy playing games with friends and sharing in a story together. :)

LOL fine you "twisted my arm" enough what with your free games. In for Shelter!

And to make my story topical, I will share with you my path to this "In!." It started with Insomnia, and in about 30 seconds some .99 cent game disappears in round one. I've never heard of this game and have no clue what it's about, so naturally I go look at it. It's about... I shit you not... playing a mother... freaking... badger. That's the point of the game. I go in the other room, still laughing, to explain to another that there is in fact a game which has the sole premise of being a badger - not a badger with a sword and a magical quest, not a badger from a state football team; an honest to goodness badger.
A few days pass and I'm still thinking about this game, I see a bunch of giveaways that include it and a ton of classifieds offering or asking for it and I'm intrigued. Then I read a post where someone mentioned almost crying and reloading when "their" baby badger dies. "Oh F-this game" I think to myself - when it comes to fuzzy critters, even virtual ones I have a soft spot and I'll be damned if I'll play a virtual badger baby snuff simulator... because I probably WILL end up crying LOL...
And yet I'm still thinking about this damned game! It's haunting me and well, now here I am. This isn't my favorite game story but it is recent and has kind of taken on a life of its own for me in the last week or so!
