Venom: so now we're back online for good.

Until the next downtime =P
You're back! C:
Out for quite a while there. I realised how badly I rely on a bookmarks browsing routine.
Hmm nice to have to site back, I thought it would be the big update...
I suggest to notify the maintenances through twitter and facebook. ;)

Venom: Hey everyone,
as you might have noticed gog.com was offline for a few hours. We've encountered unexpected power outages in our datacenter. We've been working the whole time to resolve all the issues. We've also managed to get all the maintenance work done in the mean time, so now we're back online for good.
Sorry for all the inconvenience!

Let this be a lesson about the importance of resource redundancy planning. ALWAYS have a second hamster for the wheel just in case...

Venom: Due to some work on our servers, on Tuesday, November 10th between 4:00 and 5:00 a.m. EDT (8:00 a.m and 9:00 a.m. GMT), some of our users may experience problems with viewing GOG.com website, including forums. The maintenance shouldn't last longer than 1 hour. We're sorry for the inconvenience and thank you for your understanding.

I am SO GLAD GOG is back! I was laid up all yesterday with a nasty and weird shouldblade injury that made it impossible for me to do muhc of *anything*! You guys don't know the withdrawel I went through!
And to make matters worse, I was *just* about to post in the film thread...when gog died.
