ET3D: Ah. Thanks for the clarification. I guess I just don't think of these movies as "older". The late 70's and early 80' were great days of artificial intelligences, from R2-D2 and C-3PO through Joshua in WarGames to Number 5 (is alive).

Yah, I know what you mean. They aren't exactly older films to me either, since they correspond to my own youth. But I realise that a number of people here are probably much younger than me, so to them those are old films. :)

And if my memory was working a little better when I created this compo, I would have included Alpha 60, the dictatorial computer from Godard's film Alphaville (1965).
