I'm extremely interested in the new Wasteland 2 videos that are going to be shown there. As well as being extremely interested/worried about X-Rebirth.

Gamescom 2013 is August 21-25, 2013.

I've never played an X game so I'll be interested to see how things go with Rebirth, but it looks like it might be Steam-only.

Yeah, it's Steam only sadly. They used to be TAGES, then went DRM-free then now to Steam lol
Rebirth will be very different from the original series, hence the name Rebirth, also because of what happened towards the end of the series. What I'm most worried about is that you only fly one ship now (it was like that in the very first game then changed in the expansion pack), as opposed to buying any ship and flying them.

Not sure if Obisidian is going to reveal any gameplay videos on Gamescon, haven't read or heard anything. So I guess it's just WL2 and Rebirth for me.

I don't believe Gamescon (or at least the part of it InXile is attending) is open to the public, so we won't be able to watch a stream of the new WL2 footage. From the last update it seems InXile will post a video of the footage shown for backers after Gamescon.

Gamescom is only closed for the first day; after that it's open to everyone. Even that first day will have a lot of reveals and whatever posted publicly.

I don't care anymore since they moved from Leipzig (my hometown) to Cologne.

I wish they showed us the gameplay videos first then revealing them to the public. Afterall, we're the loyal backers.

Didn't even know they were showing WL2 footage. Now i'm wwwaaayyyy more excited for Gamescon! :D
