I've been a user on GOG for quite a while now, and have never had a problem with the Downloader. Then, just last night, the Downloader would not even open. It would quickly open a window, then close. Tried again today, same result. Does anyone know how to fix this? I already tried to redownload it.

if others can't help you can try GOG support

the only thing I can think of off the top of my head is that certain services are having trouble due to the summer sale and lots of people buying and downloading

Hello my friend. You can also try removing these files from your system: ~/Library/GOG.com/GOG_Downloader.storedata and if this doesn't help also ~/Library/Preferences/com.gog.downloader.plist. Could you copy and paste contents of this file ~/Library/Logs/GOG.log and to a service such as http://pastebin.com and provide me with an URL?

As long as you weren't in the middle of downloading something, deleting ~/Library/Preferences/com.gog.downloader.plist should do the trick.

Did my suggestions help you? After reviewing the log, seems your preferences file got corrupted, removing it should resolve it.
