Might try the free version first. I believe steam has the newest version at a cost.
Free version may not be available now that steam has entered the picture.
Edit: Yeah, ONLY $9.95 from steam . . . much better than free . . .=^ )
Edit 2: Sorry prakaa, I was unaware of the "Red Orchestra: Ostfront 41-45" FULL game, the link above is for the last full mod, ver 3.3
It appears from the following "Further refinement of the Red Orchestra total conversion led to version 3.3, the last version of the mod". Didn't intend to misdirect you . . . =^ )

In which country is it 19.95 on Steam? The current price should be $9.99 but given the number of times it goes on sale for under $5 a year, you're always best waiting for it to go on sale.

It was on sale for $5 a week or two ago... I've never tried the demo, but looks like it is outdated (the demo outdated, not the full game).

My bad, should have looked on steam, instead I grabbed the price from here either way it seems mods are going to cost now and in the future.

It isn't really a mod anymore. It started as a mod, and then become a full licensed game.
A guest pass is better I think.

Yeah, I think it was the winner of the Make Something Unreal contest for 2k4. So the RO team got access to the full UE3 and made the retail version (and distributed it over Steam to spite Epic, evidently :p).

You're right, but It is UE2, not the UE3. The game Killing Floor is from the same dev, a full game too.

Oh yeah, I am an idiot. I always go by the Unreal Editor numbering (1 was Unreal, 2 was UT, 3 was 2k3/2k4) and forget that the UE1 had two editors.

Do the guest passes expire somehow? I am sure I had one for RO, but I can't find it anywhere.
EDIT: Sadly, they expire over time.

It seems I have not been keeping up with the Red orchestra game like I should have been, sorry for the confusion added by my post.

I hope you are really good at FPS games. You will get killed a lot in Red Orchestra.
I am skilled at videogames and even I think this one is too hard.
