Bah, double post.
Where are the sports games? It's football season after all! I would love to see a good football or baseball game especially since there aren't any new ones these days :(

What, like on GOG? There are two, both of which I do not recommend to anyone under the age of 30 and has a decent amount of dignity left in them.
If you mean in gaming as a whole, what do you mean there aren't any? We have Madden and Madden and Madden and Madden and NCAA and NCAA and NCAA and NCAA and MLB... something. I do think that we're seeing basically roster updates every year anyway of the same three sports games we care about (personally it's NHL, Madden, and 2K's MLB).

No,no. I mean real football. You know, American rules and all that rot :)
That's not real football. Go away.

I have Madden 08 for the PC. MLB2K9 for the PC. Both seem blah. I still play MVP 2005. I don't really have a good football game :(

I know. I lived in the States for a while and I never understood why they call that despicable game "football" where the ball is hardly touched by the foot except for kicking off and field goals. Football in the European tradition at least makes some damn sense. Foot touches ball....damn, that's just too much logic :D :D.

MVP 2005 has an excellent mod fanbase still, and it's the last of the decent EA baseball games (last of them all, come to think of it). I still have a copy of High Heat 2004 and 2003, which is still the best of the lot.

I think its called football because the "ball" is a foot long. Should be called footoval though.

That would put Brett Favre off. (Which may or may not be a bad thing, based on this season's predictions)

I don't think he has to do much math, he's clearly not that good at it if he thought that signing up with a team who were the arch enemies of his much loved former team of what, 16 years, would make him anything but hated...

No you're talking about playing rugby whie hiding away in armour and using convoluted rules. Hint: in real football your feet regularly come into contact with the ball. Hence the name.
Ahh I reckon if you can't hit someone with a stick, its not a real sport.
Obviously baseball is excluded on account of its inherently lame nature
Because Handball would just sound gay.
