thebum06: If most data is stored on a server it shouldn't really be a problem. 32gb is enough for the OS plus a few other programs. My SSD currently uses 50gb, and that's with 20gb of games and roughly 10gb of other programs.

sloganvirst: What about degradation? I read somewhere that the bigger the drive the more spread out into different cells the data is so it lasts longer - is that true?

Also, do you think having a much faster drive will affect access times to the server itself?
I wouldn´t get anything below 60GB, that would allow you to install an OS, have space for the unending updates and be able to install a few programs.
I got myself a Samsung 830, they make everything in-house, down to the firmware, they are fast and seem to be realiable.
And in respect to your question about degradation, let´s put it like this, when they fail of age (not DOA issues), we´ll be saving data to 1cm blue crystal cubes by the petabyte : )
