How does this work? It says that it needs either of the previous games to work... do they have to be installed or? Would it work if you've not installed the games, and only have them on your GG account? Also, is it up to date with patches and does it work with Complete?

Could anyone give some input?

When they say require I think they mean installed, I've never heard of a different case. What I don't understand is why they their installer would require that as both Clear Sky and Call of Pripyat has always been stand alone games.

I see they have the 'normal' version as well but it's 4 times as expensive but you get a DRM-free game and that's great because this loyality edition use Tages, one of the worst non-always online DRM I've ever encountered. Either of them should work with Complete but it's possible the Loyalty Edition might require some more work due to the requirement of an earlier game, something may break.

Unless you're out of money I would pick the non-loyalty edition for a stand-alone and DRM-free copy.

According to what grviper said you can't play Call of Pripyat without having one of the earlier games installed. You were commenting in the same thread BTW.
Oh ye, thanks.

EDIT: I guess I'll wait for the regular edition to go on sale. Don't care about DRM and crap, just want to be as "fix-me"-free as possible.
