New Starship Troopers film!

It's CG, and the little trailer I saw looks pretty good. Of course, I watched it on IGN's shitty video player (God fucking damn it, IGN, use something that's not shit!), so I won't link it, but on the site here's a link to it in the sidebar.
A new Starcraft movie? Yey!

Yes, we had no idea that the movie wasn't actually a Starcraft-based movie back then, but we were just kids playing Starcraft. :D
I enjoyed the first one.

I have no shame.
While I don't respect your desire to supply IGN with hits, I commend your linking outside of them and for bringing this awesome piece of news to my attention. + for you.

I'll wait for the exclusivity to lift.

The first one was a good movie. It had little to nothing to do with the actual book, but it wasn't intended to be a movie-of-the-book in the first place. It was originally intended to be a kill-the-bugs action movie, but it was similar enough (cough) that they figured they'd just buy the rights anyway. And it's a good action movie. Plus the propaganda movies are downright hilarious.

Not sure how I feel about this new one, though.
First one is very good, it all blends nicely together into funny movie, second one is outright terrible, I am yet to see the 3rd one so I am not sure if I should look forward to this one.

DON'T. Do not EVER see the third. It becomes a very awkward attempt to combine Starship Troopers with religion. It fails miserably. Horrible.
#1 was one of my favourite movies growing up, saw it like 20 times, never got the satire thing till i was in my late teens though lol

I have no shame.
Why should you be ashamed? It's a brilliant little film. Excellent antidote for people like me who absolutely hated the book.

The problem is i liked the book too. So it's confusing to decide which one has its merits and which one is a guilty pleasure.
