With Square Enix drawing out of GOG's sale, you might have missed Startopia, so here is a chance to get it if you're a good codecracker.

First hint on 4:30 PM, i.e. in 40 minutes. If I don't fall asleep by then... (note: this line is not part of the riddle).
Not in as I just got it as a gift today :) +1
Here is your first hint. The first part of the riddle should lead you to a Youtube video, but first knowledge of short stories is king.

EDIT, 5:00 PM:
Second hint: I encrypted it with the numbers you see in the video at the number of seconds in the first part.

EDIT, 5:30 PM:
You get two words and a number if you unwrap the first line. Read a literaric work about one of the words and add what is said at its peak to the other word.

EDIT, 6:15 PM:
One word is Jaunt. Read the story here:

EDIT, 9:50 PM: Ok, since nobody posts or anything, this goes to a ninja giveaway instead.

I am utterly clueless as to how to arrive at any part of the solution, even with your hints. I am no resident of Bletchley Park, but still a logical mind. This probably requires too much inside information.
I did catch the vague hint of "king" and "short stories" to Stephen King, but didn't find out how to find the Youtube video.
I'm intrigued though.

Don't mean to complain but having people in mind who may have missed out on the Squeenix sale, shouldn't you wait until the sale is really over? Startopia is still 50% off as far as I can see.

*SPOILERS AHEAD*

The string "ijnafuinnti1t0y1" can be split into
i-n-f-i-n-i-t-y
-j-a-u-n-t-1-0-1

At the "peak" of the Stephen King short story titled "Jaunt" there's "Longer than you think, Dad!"

if you search for "infinity longer than you think" on YouTube, you'll find a video titled "Infinity is bigger than you think". 101 seconds into this video you'll see a series of numbers being written on a sheet following a simple algorithm.

Protoss took his original gift code and added the numbers in the series mentioned above to the characters.

And this is about as far as I got -- the text in the first post has more characters than a gift code would, so there's probably yet another twist.

The code was already given away at the ninja thread since I thought nobody reads this. :D

Good perception of you!

I know it was, otherwise I wouldn't have posted spoilers in the thread. I'm just trying to figure it out for the fun of it. :)
As a small hint then: You're right with everything so far.
Congrats to the lucky ninja, and thanks and +1 for your generosity, Protoss!
