Fever_Discordia: How to I tell what I recently bought on Steam?
Totally lost count - about 37 to GOG, Steam ? I think I recently activated at least one 3rd party bundle on Steam recently too, which is only going to confuse things...

Gog: 3 (1 for myself, 2 for gifts)
Steam: 45+ games
(finally got skyrim legendary, fallout 3 goty, dishonored goty, far cry franchise, The Secret World: Massive Edition, etc. + many more)

Sorry gog, you just don't get enough new AAA games.
GOG: Steam
19: 0

I try to limit Steam to "must have" AAA exclusives these days and I have all I want for now. Castlevania: LoS was tempting but the price wasn't quite right for a non-preferred distributor. Maybe next sale. :)
GOG definitely brought their A game this time around.

GOG : Steam
20 : 2 (But I regret buying Dark Soul, because it is using Games for Windows as a DRM)
gog : 33
steam : 3 2 of which i bought as gifts

gog won out for me this year which doesnt happen often
GOG 13 : Steam 3

I only buy games from Steam that I know are very unlikely to come to GOG. So yeah, Capcom stuff: Resident Evil madness! ;)
I wasn't supposed to buy really anything, but I think in the end I bought a dozen or so games from GOG summer sales. Oh and Witcher 3 preorder.

From Steam, one (Dark Souls), albeit I was drunk when I bought it. I was also eyeing Skyrim Legendary Edition, but still decided to pass it as it didn't quite get below the 10€ limit that I've said I will not pay for it. I think it went down to 10.60€ or something at best.

Then again, now I feel maybe I should put that limit to 6€. I'm not in a hurry to buy it (with DRM), still to play the earlier TES games which I have already. I guess I should keep to my promise not to buy games with DRM until I am actually going to play them. Then again, not sure if I am going to play Dark Souls quite yet either, other than trying it out...

So let's say: 12:1.

Ah OK, seems to be 25 Steam games or game packs (I bought 2 Sega Genesis classics packs - The Sonic one and the one with all the Phantasy Stars) plus some DLC for Game of Thrones plus two more 3rd party 'Indie' bundles were added over the sale period...
GoG really annoyed me not putting Age of Wonders 3 on Special , and I waited for it to buy instead of steam which had it over 50% off. I got Ultimate general Gettysburg on steam so I guess GOG loses.

Its a pity GOGs special doesn't just let you discount 1 game by 15-20% regardless of release instead of waiting for it to turn up which is no guarantee if you are working and dont have time to stick around your pc all day.
GOG Wins with a humiliating shutout! :D

GOG = 52 : Steam = 0
