Don't Starve is too I just wish to Hell I could turn off the damn trumpet voice They get annoying after the first Minute and a half of hearing them!

(I had some trouble loading the game initially, but eventually got it to work with firefox.)

I haven't personally played it (yet), but what about Return to Mysterious Island?

One of the reviewers says the following: "HOWEVER, where the game excels is at putting your mind in full Robinson Crusoe mode, with a dose of MacGyver too. And trust me, it's a LOT of fun. You'll have to create medicine, tools and various low-tech gizmos to advance through the game and I have to say there are some really ingenious combinations."

I have to say that one line really intrigues me, and is probably the whole reason this game is on my wishlist. Well, that and the Jules Verne connection, obviously.

Depends on your definition of "survival." Is it a simulator? No. Does it put an emphasis on survival elements? Yes. And most importantly (in my opinion), it gets the feeling of survival.

Also, no mention of Sir you are Being Hunted? :(
