I'll tell you something hilarious. As I've already mentioned I got unemployed recently and it was because of some a$$holes. To keep it short: the management of the company I worked for decided to fire two co-workers and the reasons they told us were absolutely ridiculous and pathetic. My friend and me stood up for them and eventually we both decided to quit. I know it may sound silly but believe me - the management, they were really behaving like total a$$holes. So what's hilarious about the story? Well, yesterday one of our most devoted customers told the management that they terminate all contracts because they were cooperating with the company only because my friend (the one who quit as well) and me were working there. And since we are not there anymore they don't want to deal with the company anymore. Hilarious, isn't it? But wait! It gets better. Today our biggest and most generous customer decide to grant a prize for the most devoted and hard working employee. They have a dozen or so contracts with different companies and order various scientific research, something like 200 people. And guess what? They decided that I'll get this prize! But the best thing is that my ex-employers tried to stop it arguing that I don't work for them anymore. The answer was short: "We don't care. It's not a incentive bonus but a prize for something he has already done. And by the way: shame on you that you let such a great scientist leave your place". Hilarious. Absolutely hilarious!

Oh, and something to boost: my birthday is very soon.

We quit because we want to be on our friends' side with their conflict with the management and we realized that by doing so we can actually show them that they cannot treat people like that. What they did to our co-workers was really terrible (sorry, I cannot give you any more details here) And it seems that we succeeded - they heave problems with their contracts now because we were both main scientists there.

You were great, standing up for a coworker. I hope all goes well to you in the future, and congrats on the bonus!
