Hey GOG, I need to ask any former SWG (Star Wars Galaxies) players on here a question. I was really sad about the game closing down even though I had quit about a year before(I had played for 3 years before), and I wanted to ask you guys about SWGEMU. I'm thinking about trying it, but Iwant some feedback about it, does it give the same experience, is it still very much the same game it was, and are there people still playing?

Yes people are still playing but it's still early days and the servers get reset fairly often so you don't get much time to develop your character. but it is very playable. I missed playing the original SWG but I wanted to. You need to buy a legit copy of Star Wars Galaxies online though. I got mine off ebay. They seem to use some kind of modified sony game launcher too. The game is set in Pre CU SWG as well.

Yeah, I started playing in 08 so I never got to play pre-cu. Anyways I just found my SWG Starter Kit and I pop the disc in, then it gives me error 5006(?) It's not a problem with the disc as I tried it on the other computer and it works.
