I've never had the pleasure of experiencing these games like a lot of others here. From what I've read though it seems like one I'd like to try.

What is the Amerzone? Some Syberias sequel? Never heard of it.

I believe it was pretty favorably compared to Myst, back when it was new. Not really related to Syberia other than being created by the same company.

Actually, there are small references to Amerzone in Syberia. So you can say that they take place in the same universe.
It's like a spiritual prequel to the Syberia series.
Played all three, though only part of Amerzone. The first Syberia is the best and one of the greatest adventure games ever. The second was still enjoyable, but lost some of the magic of the first.
Amerzone is better than most Myst-type games, but IMO not quite as good. Though again, I only played part of it.

I've been looking for Syberia 1 & 2 for a while now, looking forward to playing them soon hopefully. I have amerzone on CD already, perhaps I should dust it off and give it a spin
