Could I play Origins on a rig with 2.4 GHz Dual Core, 256mb Nvidia 7600GT and 1GB RAM
Minimum settings aside, I want to know how well I could play this game
I can run World in Conflict on medium, and Company of Heroes on Medium for scaling
That 1 GB doesn't sound too promising, and neither does the 256 mb... You could probably run it, but only on low graphics settings, and you'd likely suffer some lag anyhow.
I recommend you try the "Can you RUN it?" website:

^This is usually pretty good indicator of how a game will work for you.

I used that website with my laptop, it said I couldn't play TF2.
I can play tf2 with my laptop.

Did it say you didn't meet the recommended requirements, or that you didn't meet the minimum requirements?
My experience has been that you can generally still play games when you don't meet the recommended requirements, but there's almost always lag problems or the like. If you don't meet the MINIMUM requirements, the degree to which your gaming experience could go wrong depends on how far below the requirements you are.

It said that I did not meet the minimum system requirements, because they didn't know anything about my video card.
I have to say that I'm impressed with the performance of DA:O. Brand new game and I'm running in my little 8800gt with everything cranking.
I know it's a better card than the OP but as it runs without missing a beat the 7600 should run okay though the 1gb ram is a bit worrying.

what resolution are you running the game on? Also, graphical setting would also be nice.
I have the same card. Thanks.

1440 x 900
8x AA
vsync
Graphics Detail - Very High
Texture Detail - High
Frame Buffer Effects - Checked (Not actually sure what this one is however)
This is in the pre-game configure thing. Not sure if the in game menu has other options.
