yeah but they've also said if you ever happen to hit that, send thme an email and they'll reset it. Sounds like the system just needs a number

Do you know if that version of securom installs a virtual driver or any kind of rootkit-like software on my PC what won't uninstall after I uninstall the game? I downloaded it but I'm on the fence whether or not to install it.

I can't find the link to the info but from what I remember reading on their forum, the only securom stuff they use is the online activation module which doesn't install any driver style shit

Trust me, nothing's "free" from telltale games. The fact that Lucasarts let them massacre the Monkey Island franchise is the ultimate in irony, as any adventure game fan will tell you, because Telltale are basically the Walmart/Popcap of adventure games.
Their non-games are terrible, without any real gameplay to speak of. They are just walking from one location to the next. Boring.

Keep in mind, that SecuRom takes higher-than-admin status on your PC, and is virtually impossible to remove, no matter how "lightly" it's implemented.

I'm sorry, I missed the point where you were elected to speak for all adventure game fans. It's funny, because I generally hear nothing but praise for Telltale's games... especially among people who have been playing adventure games since their conception.

I wonder how dumb they'll feel when they realise that Telltale is mostly comprised of Lucasart's former adventure game staff.
