Today one of the higher-ups at work showed up two hours late, completely shitfaced and dragging a little karaoke-on-wheels kind of thingy.

After witnessing the horror that is a middle aged man performing a rousing rendition of "Dancing Queen" i had to enlist the help of a fellow cubicle-dweller so we could take Captain Moron back to his house, little karaoke machine and everything.

So, what i'm trying to say is that a coworker and i spent most of the morning dragging a drunk singing asshole in between us and recreating scenes form "Weekend at Bernie's" all over town.

Now, i'm sure i am not the only one that has been trough crazy days, so let's share some stories, shall we?
Sometimes you just need a good break from pretending to be perfect to impress others whom think that they're perfect.

I give your drunken colleague kudos for realizing, that in the end, it's all a whole lot of hog shit anyways.

As for me, I'm sort of in employment limbo right now. As a casual employee whom casually turned away casually offered work, I may never be offered work from this casual employer again thus meaning that I will have to waste paper and ink printing up many resumes to go through town with looking for another casual, and inevitably disposable, low-paying employment opportunity.

But as for today, I sit and wait for a definite yes or no from current employer and feel horribly bad that I took advantage of a digi game sale for a game that will absolutely not work on my eight year old computer.

Other than this overlooming situation of dread and despair, which no longer feels like dread and despair but more like status-quo, here we go again, I've been having fun, enjoying the weather and my down time.
I made another strip for my web comic. Lately I've developed a pretty high-quality story arc that launches the 28th, which I'm pretty excited about. I also tried a little noir thing which turned out way, way better than I could have ever hoped, and as that's my favorite kind of literature I'm excited to finally participate in it a little bit.

Oy! What is this webcomic you speak of? Link? I really like to see creative types around here.
I had a normal day at school. Boring, but I at least almost got in trouble for having a simple debate in English. About it.

The link is http://achrisfling.com/exotica. It is so, so rough in the beginning though, and on my schedule the good stuff won't appear until, like I said, March 28th.

I do have a small surprise coming up Friday though, a surprise which requires Java! Unfortunately, when I thought of the idea, I hadn't yet read MS Paint Adventures, so the interactive web comic thing is unfortunately not new. I should have known, it was silly of me to assume I thought of it first. But regardless, it's still kind of a new concept, which means no one has really had the chance to take it very far. I've only made the one so far, but I made a nice little infrastructure in Processing/Java to work with moving forward.
I won at the penis game in the school cafeteria.
i went to the comic shop then i ate lunch at wienerschnitzel then i went home.

And you're the forty-seven year old Principle. XD
This morning the sun rose, and now it has set. It's been like that for hours now, I'm afraid of what'll happen next.
No classes today and an internship interview tomorrow, so this was a day of preparation.

Which means useless internet surfing and watching Machete.

Did you notice that the Machete guy is made of decomposing clay or am i the only one? Seriously, look at his face, the guy is melting.
I've been on holiday due to the carnival season since last friday and will be going back to work tomorrow. I had guests on saturday, went to the beach on sunday (wife and I rented a four passenger bike with my cousin and niece), celebrated my birthday on monday, went to my mother's to help her fill her american VISA application on tuesday (which is a pain in the ass experience, specially for an old woman who wouldn't understand half of what she has to do) and today I visited my dad who i hadn't visited in quite some time. I went to watch a movie with him and his family (Unknown, with Liam Neeson) and it was quite enjoyable. It's been a while since I've seen a movie with mostly realistic action instead of having everything be computer generated.

So in the end, it's been quite a productive carnival. Back to my regular schedule tomorrow... that is, until holy week, when we usually end up with a couple of free days as well (thursday to sundays usually, with good friday being free by law).
So, I'm at work while having no actual work to do. Meaning, I read these forums and try to learn Windows Server 2008 R2, Active Directory and SCCM by messing around in a lab environment.

Well, if it rises again you know something's up.

Keep us posted.
