Uh..Welcome back ? I also was not really active in the forum until randomly open the forum, read some post, and I thought I should try to be active here. It is good. Especially with all those giveaways XD

For Witcher 2.. Yeah. It is a very good deal. But the size of the game (15 GB !?) really made me think. As I don't have sufficient unlimited connection of internet yet. Currently I am still using an unlimited connection with max 1024 kbps of download speed, with 6 GB of Fair Usage Policy (FUP). Once it hits 6 GB, the download speed would down to 153 kbps. And once it hits 2 GB (2nd FUP), the speed would down to 64 kbps.

Downloading 15 GB ? nah.. out of question.

I have a fairly new PC and GOG is currently responsible for about 70% of the games on my hard drive. I didn't know about GOG when I had my previous PC and the amount of time and money I wasted trying to get older games to work, buying disc versions from Amazon etc. only to find out that they wouldn't run or even install... it still makes me angry thinking about it now. GOG has revived my flagging interest in gaming and is fast turning me into a retro gamer.

Larger downloads can still be a worry though. I'm also thinking about getting The Witcher 2 because it's such a great deal, but I haven't even played the first one yet (which I bought from GOG) - and that took a whole evening to download ! I was mightily relieved when it worked without a hitch.

Buying Sacrifice is the better option!
