Rapidshare killed themselves. What they did is pretty much the dumbest thing a company could ever do.

They had the whole scene using their services, and suddenly they changed their billing / payment / storage / points / extension policies and systems.

In a matter of months they lost at least a few dozen million customers.
They have already been overtaken. ;)
