Please, say thank you to our generous donors: Daniel Ruf, Lou and reaver894, lugum, Zorder, Ian and Licurg! :)

Sometimes I wonder how would be to live in a distant future. As I'm a sucker for sci-fi, almost any non-dystopian universe would serve for me (I mean, I love reading W40K lore, but to live where "there is only war"? No, thanks!). So:

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- -----------------------------------------------------------------------------
To enter the giveaway, just tell us the fictional universe (sci-fi / fantasy / whatever), based on a video game, book, TV series or movie (not that kind of movies, gentlemen! :D) in which you will like to live, at least for a while. :)
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- -----------------------------------------------------------------------------

-- Dead Pixels (kindly donated by lugum)
-- Red Faction Armaggedon + Path to War DLC (kindly donated by Zorder)
-- Darksiders (kindly donated by Zorder)
-- Crayon Physics Deluxe (kindly donated by Zorder)

2. To enter in the giveaway, you must answer the question above! ("tell us the fictional universe, based on a video game, book, TV series or movie in which you will like to live.")
3. You can enter for ANY NUMBER of games (specify which ones and the order). If you don't choose any prize(s) in your post, I'll assume that you don't want to enter.
4. Random.org, one prize for winner, re-giftting and trading are allowed.

UPDATE:

Finally, I'd like to dedicate the giveaway, as usual, to all those of you who make this community a friendly and warming place to stay. A heartfelt thank you to all of you! :)

PS: If you see this thread lost in the depths of the forum, I really would appreciate a small BUMP to it! ;)

Thanks! In for Two Worlds.

Recently I finished reading the book I, Robot by Asimov, and it's really great! (The movie isn't too terrible, but nothing comparable to the book it's based on.)

As such I would really love to live in a world with those robots and their positronic brains and the three rules.

dizcology: Recently I finished reading the book iRobot
Oh, god. A world where Apple has taken over everything? Sounds much worse than his seminal I, Robot.

^_^
Thanks, I'm in for Dead Pixels

I want to be...in Lord of the Rings universe :)

Agreed. As a fan of Asimov's works since early childhood, my heart bleeds to hear such blasphemy. :P

I down-repped myself. The honest and terrible mistake aside, it is really a great book. I however had a hard time getting into the Foundation series.
In for Two Worlds.

I would like to live in a world created by S.R. Donaldson in The Chronicles of Thomas Covenant series.

Thank you Thespian*, Daniel Ruf and Lou and all the generous peeps who donated games to this GA.

P.S. And sorry again for this.
Oh wow, how cool it would be to live in the world of Planescape! I would find it extremely interesting to say the least.. where death and life aren't exactly far apart.. so cool to imagine for me!!

Thanks for the amazing GA and as always, I and the community love you and the people who make this possible. +1

Edit: Actually, I want to enter for Thespian for whichever game it is he wants, just count my vote as his for his amazing generosity.

I'll enter for Two Worlds

A fantasy world I would Love to live in briefly, is Dungeons And Dragons. Fighting (and hopefully surviving) the undead and dragons, would be fun, especially the riches that one can find
Please count me in for, in order of preference:
1. Darksiders
&
2. Crayon Physics Deluxe
Thanks to Zorder for donating them.

I would like to try life in a post-apocalyptic universe, such as that of the Fallout series of video games. This setting has always fascinated me, and I would like to try living it, if only for a while.

Thanks for the giveaway, Thespian*, and to all the donors: Daniel Ruf and Lou, lugum, Zorder, Ian and Licurg. Thank you!
Hi, thanks for the giveaways and +1 to you.

Count me in.

Regarding the world I would like to live in, I think it would be the world of Ultima VI: The False Prophet. The reason is that it is a flat world and people do strive to follow the virtues, plus it has Lord British, The Avatar, Gargoyles and the Codex of Ultimate Wisdom.

Regarding the games, I'm not too greedy, just a bit so I'll choose 3 games:

1. Two Worlds.
2. The Geneforge Saga.
3. Multiwinia.

Thanks again to those who donated the games.
NI, but wanted to say thanks, and good luck to all.

halo / star trek / star gate. so sci fi nut nawhh? who told you? how did you know? ;)

i have to admit im leaning towards Star Trek, the idealism in place is how i am now, how i view things how i feel; and i just frankly dont think well be able to reach that level of harmony - we are a young race but were too 'scrappy' to make it through without killing ourselves off or some other life form going look what they have done *swat*.
