Here is a new invention: a DRM-free topic where we can freely discuss anything but DRM.

The first person to mention DRM will not a win a game.

However, if you post something worthwhile about something (not DRM), you could win a game. One of the following:

The Last Express (DRM-free)
Rollercoaster Tycoon Deluxe (DRM-free)
Master of Orion 1+2 (DRM-free)

Please don't post about DRM while also mentioning which DRM-free game you would like (without mentioning DRM), and I will DRM a winner for each DRM-free game.

Good luck!

(Don't mention DRM.)
Remember that Dr. M guy?
I honestly think there is nothing in this world quite as glorious as the sight of Dragon-Riding Midgets soaring through the sky.
If you yelled for 8 years, 7 months and 6 days, you would have produced enough sound energy to heat one cup of coffee.

how much cups of coffees can a tycoon heat from all the people yelling each day at the rollercoaster rides?

i want to ride on a rollercoaster singing do-re-mi!
Masters of Orion, looking at the screenshots it reminds me of a game my older cousin used to play on his computer. It was 100% RTS, I don't think it allowed the up close shots. This was probably about 1997-1999 when I saw this game on his computer, and I'm hoping to find it again. Hell, maybe Masters of Orion is that game. But then, this is more pixelated than the game I'm looking for, so I'm not sure. The game also treated planets as mineral/construction farms with combat usually being bunches of ships against bunches of ships. Finally, I only saw one level, but I'm certain that the dialogue screens weren't in them. I'm pretty certain I saw it before 2000, as my cousin joined the Navy some time after. Maybe if I'm lucky someone can have it figured out

Edit: forgot to add that The Last Express would be my preferred mode of transport to the stoning

What? No Way! It is my fundamental right to bitch and moan about *** !
WTF? Why is *** censored? OMG! It must be ACTA&SOPA! RUUUUUUUUUUN!

Some MoO1&2 sounds awesome, especially ***-Free.
I use Decisive Retcon Method to edit this post, hoping for The Last Express.

What really gets on my nerves is that steaming pile of shit many so called stars force on us.

On the other hand, the ubiquety of secured rom sites makes me very happy!

We're getting a little closer. Mine was as far as I remember somewhat more detailed, and stayed out in space without building hub cities personally. I spotted another title called Free Allegiance that looks pretty close graphically, but as far as I can tell isn't an RTS.

Edit: The game this video shows is about the closest to what I'm referring to. But, it had a whole big map of planets rather than the 5 this shows off.

I just downloaded Savage 2 again. Realized my account's at level 38. I love this game and I can't wait to play it again.
Two men travelling on The Last Express. The Master of Orion turned to his companion and said, Where are we going? with a bleak look the ex Roller Coaster Tycoon replies, Doesn't Really Matter, it's all getting a bit old now.
