I'm NOT in, I still have plenty in my "to play/watch/read" pile. But I do know how the job thing goes; it took me quite some time to get the job I have now (and LOVE, so I say don't give up - a good job that fits you is out there). And, while I'm not exactly prone to depression, when I didn't have a job I was probably the most depressed I've been in my life, its more frustrating than some realize. I mean, I ended up with surprise major abdominal surgery a few weeks ago, am still recovering, and even THAT wasn't as much of a downer as job hunting felt after a while.

I have an alternate if you want something genuinely uplifting and not just some cheap sardonic yuks. This is a webisode of a YouTube series called "Playing for Pocket Change," which are little vignettes of various New York buskers and their daily lives playing to an anonymous public in a public place. This is my favorite one, about a "musical saw" player, Natalia "Saw Lady" Paruz, who turns that rusty 'ol $40 wood-cutting saw hanging in anybody's shed into a thing of beauty. I love her story and her attitude too; very positive and charismatic.
