Dear GOGers, it is time for a giveaway of one of my all-time-favourites.
I have one code for Nox on GOG to give away. The first game I got for my first own computer and a game I still like a lot. I find this game very enjoyable and still pretty to look at after all this years and now one of you who does not yet own this game will get a chance to play it.
The conditions are simple:
1. You must actually be interested in playing it. I do not really care what happens to a steam or desura code I occasionally post in the ninja thread, but in this case it would bug me if the person getting the game is not at least interested in trying it.
2. This is called "re-imagine" for a reason, so you have to do something. I am not really sure if that works, but I came to notice(yea, right) that GOG happens to have many iconic titles in its library which often evoke memories or pictures in those who read them so we are going to re-imagine some.
What you do:You copy the title and the "What's cool about it:" section from one game, and the description of another game.
For example:
Soul Reaver
What's cool about it:
Gothic atmosphere set by stylized visuals and moody music that dynamically changes with the environment.
Ability to shift between two overlapping realms (spectral and material) creates unique puzzle-solving possibilities.
Fascinating, wide-reaching story about betrayal and vengeance presented in so convincing and believable way that it really makes you thirst for souls of your adversaries.
An unholy union of human and vampire, you were raised and trained by a secret government agency to hunt down and eliminate evil forces across the globe. Now you must take on an occult faction of pre-Nazis and their army of vile, unearthly ghouls to prevent them from unleashing creatures of unfathomable terror onto the world.
As Agent Soul Reaver, you'll travel through the eerie swamps of Louisiana, to Argentina and Germany. All the while, satisfying her passionate lust for human blood. Battle Nazis, mutants, swamp creatures, ancient parasitic monsters and blood-sucking beasts.
It also would help if you replace some names in the description to not throw the reader of, but it is up to you.
The idea is, that many of us have a strong imagery of certain games in their heads and start transporting that into the description they are reading and re-imagine the game. Maybe it works, maybe it doesn't, we will see.
I set a deadline once I see how this goes.
