Dear GOGers, it is time for a giveaway of one of my all-time-favourites.

I have one code for Nox on GOG to give away. The first game I got for my first own computer and a game I still like a lot. I find this game very enjoyable and still pretty to look at after all this years and now one of you who does not yet own this game will get a chance to play it.

The conditions are simple:

1. You must actually be interested in playing it. I do not really care what happens to a steam or desura code I occasionally post in the ninja thread, but in this case it would bug me if the person getting the game is not at least interested in trying it.

2. This is called "re-imagine" for a reason, so you have to do something. I am not really sure if that works, but I came to notice(yea, right) that GOG happens to have many iconic titles in its library which often evoke memories or pictures in those who read them so we are going to re-imagine some.

What you do:You copy the title and the "What's cool about it:" section from one game, and the description of another game.

For example:

Soul Reaver

What's cool about it:
Gothic atmosphere set by stylized visuals and moody music that dynamically changes with the environment.

Ability to shift between two overlapping realms (spectral and material) creates unique puzzle-solving possibilities.

Fascinating, wide-reaching story about betrayal and vengeance presented in so convincing and believable way that it really makes you thirst for souls of your adversaries.

An unholy union of human and vampire, you were raised and trained by a secret government agency to hunt down and eliminate evil forces across the globe. Now you must take on an occult faction of pre-Nazis and their army of vile, unearthly ghouls to prevent them from unleashing creatures of unfathomable terror onto the world.

As Agent Soul Reaver, you'll travel through the eerie swamps of Louisiana, to Argentina and Germany. All the while, satisfying her passionate lust for human blood. Battle Nazis, mutants, swamp creatures, ancient parasitic monsters and blood-sucking beasts.

It also would help if you replace some names in the description to not throw the reader of, but it is up to you.

The idea is, that many of us have a strong imagery of certain games in their heads and start transporting that into the description they are reading and re-imagine the game. Maybe it works, maybe it doesn't, we will see.

I set a deadline once I see how this goes.

Wing Commander: Privateer

What's cool about it:

- Customize your ship according to your needs and budget, modifying weapons, armor, and other systems
- Choose the life of a pirate, merchant, or mercenary. As long as you keep a couple of steps ahead of your enemies and a couple of bucks in the black, you’re a free agent
- Explore a vast universe with countless bases and planets spread out across dozens of systems. Adventure, trade, and exploration are limitless, even after you’ve finished the main game

Overview:

In the dark and twisted cities of tomorrow, corporate syndicates compete for global dominance. But the boardroom deals and corporate takeovers of the future look very different from today: they are lead by marketing directors who manage teams of half-men, half-machine cyborgs with no conscience and plenty of guns.

You are an ambitious marketing director in the Syndicate, hand-picked to lead a team of cyborg mercenaries. You work in the problem-solving department and you are damn good at "taking care" of problems. Some might say that violence is not the answer but you know better. There here are hardly any problems that you can't solve with a well-placed bullet. Collateral damage in the local population and infrastructure during the “negotiations” is, as always, acceptable. After all, what would you expect form the dystopian futuristic world run by mega-corporations?

It'’s a masterpiece of a game in which you aren’t saving the world or protecting innocents. You just make sure that your employers get what they want. At your disposal are four cyborg agents, an impressive arsenal of weapons and gadgets, and a massive selection of cybernetic upgrades. You are free to unleash this power on a highly interactive map where you can blow up buildings, steal cars, light trees on fire, or just shoot stuff. Produced by Peter Molyneux himself, Privateer is the essence of cyberpunk and, with its great music, stylized visuals, and mind-blowing atmosphere, it has earned its place among the best games of all time. Make sure to check out the game that secured Origin's place in game development hall of fame.

Did I do this correctly? I changed some words, but I don't know if it works...

Overview:

Before man climbed down from the trees to shop in megastores and drink cappuccino, before the Earth wadded itself into a cool blue ball, before the Moon even existed, there was the bar. The BAR, a massive fragment of a long-lost mind, hurtling blindly through WC. Upon the surface of this pool table wanders the midget, Kabutie. Little does Kabutie know that the BAR was home to others before him. In the restrooms, there dwells a matriarchal race called the Mop Reapers. In their pride, they created Kabutie, as a defense against intruders. But Kabutie became conscious of himself, his loneliness, his pain - and he went berserk.

Space castaways, the Bollocks piloted their ship through dark alleys, looking for their missing friends. If you haven’t guessed already, they ended up on the BAR. Faced with yet another unscheduled layover while on their way to Strip Club, the Bollocks decide to make the best of their temporary home. Just their luck - the natives are already embroiled in their own little war, and the Bollocks visitors are most unwelcome!

Bollocks... Mop Reapers... Kabutie... One BAR isn’t big enough for the three of them.

In! Its on my wishlist ever since it came out, but I can't promise that I'll start playing it before 2014.
P.S. Even if I don't win the prize I had terrific time puzzling this post.
