I'd throw in Seven Kingdoms as well. I loved that game. It's one of the only RTSs I can think of where combat is often the furthest thing from your mind. Honestly, it's the type of game I was expecting Age of Empires to be. Establishing markets, training workers and soldiers, navigating spies through enemy ranks...it was incredibly easy to get lost in one of these smaller parts and enjoy it to the point you might not manage the rest of your kingdom efficiently. A real gem. I've still never played the sequel, but maybe one day I'll carve out some time for it.
The Lost Vikings. I think this game was moderately popular at its release (it sold well enough to spawn a sequel, at any rate), but it seems to be largely forgotten nowadays, especially under the glare of Blizzard's later blockbuster releases. I still think this is the best game that Blizzard ever developed, and one of the most enjoyable puzzle games I've ever played.

I'm inclined to think the Blizzard guys themselves tend to generate a "let's forget we made this game, OK?" air. It WAS a good game, but the devs may think lowly about it, exactly because later titles became true blockbusters and have millions of on-line gamers. Because TLV doensn't have that amount of fans (or so it seems), and is not a Battle.net-capable game, *maybe* they don't want gamers to see it on their glorious repertoire.
Downfall is a classic made point & click adventure game which was made in the Adventure Game Studio engine. It was released earlier this year. I feel that this is a game which is completely underated and unheard of apart from the AGS community.
"Quiet Haven Hotel was supposed to be just a one night shelter for Joe and Lucy Davis. But things soon start to go wrong. Lucy's panic attacks get worse and soon she disappears. And in the morning hotel changes too. Nothing is what it seems anymore. Joe is left alone, trying to understand what is happening, trapped between reality and the nightmare. Then everything changes again and the world turns black and white. Only the colour of blood is still red...
And it's all around him.
While the raging storm outside gets worse by the minute, it turns out the hotel isn't completely abandoned. There's a party on the third floor... but the birthday girl surrounded by her silent guests just keeps crying... The doctor in room 202 is hearing voices coming from the walls telling him to perform a certain experiment... And one girl who is asleep in her bedroom is dreaming a strange dream that soon turns into her worst nightmare..."

I bought it and loved it. It's a game that would last a good 3-5 hours if you don't know what you are doing. A compelling and thought provoking experience.

Krypsyn: 2. Knights of the Old Republic 2
It is truly a shame that Lucas Arts forced Obsidian to release this game early. The first 2/3 of the game is superior to the first game in just about every way that counts: more interesting plot, better dialogue with more quantifiable NPC impact, deeper NPC back stories, more light saber crystal variety.
The trouble is that it is painfully obvious that they ran out of time. The last 3rd of the game is a bare bones plot and a rigid railroad to the endgame. Some of the things they had to leave out would have been spectacular. People found vestiges of unused dialogues indicating a few plot tangents that would have occurred in the final 1/3 of the game.

I have to agree with you. I don't know if it was because I played KoTOR 2 first, but it truly is at least as good as the original, if not better. It really is a shame they didn't had more time to finish it.
gothic 1+ 2: great rpg games
Mafia- Awsome story and thrid person shooter. Free roam driving was also fun to do. Some Mod's for the game.
Shenmue1 +2: epic adventure game. So much details and a interesting story. Very few games like this. There is fighting but it is not a big part and the QTE are done right in this game
